京都市京セラ美術館で開催中の個展「村上隆 もののけ 京都」開催と京都市美術館開館90周年を記念し、限定の「COLLECTIBLE TRADING CARD」付のふるさと納税のプランを2023年12月7日にリリースいたしました。
リリース後大変多くの方からの寄付をいただきました結果、3億円を超える寄付が集まり、返礼品の提供予定数の提供が完了したため、第1弾のふるさと納税の寄付について受付を終了いたしました。今回好評をいただいた結果を踏まえ、この度「COLLECTIBLE TRADING CARD 【第2弾】」をはじめとする、新しいふるさと納税プランをリリースいたします。
本プランは、ふるさと納税と芸術支援の新しいかたちを試みる革新的な取り組みとなっています。これからもふるさと納税を活用したさまざまな返礼品の提供などを考えておりますので、カイカイキキ・村上隆の取り組みにこれからもご注目いただければと思います。
ふるさと納税限定「COLLECTIBLE TRADING CARD 【第2弾】」について
村上隆の近年の活動で注目を集めるNFT（非代替性トークン）プロジェクト。村上隆が満を辞して始動した初のNFT作品「Murakami.Flowers」は、代表作である「お花」シリーズが、1970年代の日本のTVゲームをイメージしたピクセルドット24×24のドット絵で表現されています。そして、その次なる展開として今注目を集めているのが、「トレーディングカード」です。昨年の12月にリリースした「Murakami.Flowersトレーディングカード 108フラワーズ」は即完売となるなど注目を集めています。
今回のふるさと納税限定「COLLECTIBLE TRADING CARD 【第2弾】」については、第1弾の好評を受け、カードデザインを一新した全12種類のカードになります。1パックに3枚入りで、種類によって出現率が変わっており、かつ特殊な印刷加工をしたものも、限定的に存在します。
このカードは、同名で2024年に全108種のトレーディングカード(有限会社カイカイキキ 制作販売)として販売される商品の特別版(台紙の色や印刷の方法などが、一般販売版と異なります)ですので、手に入れるチャンスは、この機会のみです。どのカードが現れるか、パッケージを開封するまでわかりません。宝くじ感覚でお楽しみください。
また、今回寄付額15,000円プランには、「聖護院八ッ橋 24枚 箱入」と、「聖護院八ッ橋限定COLLECTIBLE TRADING CARD」を返礼品として設定しています。こちらのカードは全3種から1枚がランダムで付いてきます。こちらのカードも今回のふるさと納税でしか入手できないカードとなっていますので、ぜひお楽しみに。

Kyoto City Museum of Art 90th Anniversary Exhibition “Takashi Murakami: Mononoke Kyoto” Collectible Trading Cards Vol.2 and other exclusive items to be released as Kyoto City Furusato Nozei (Hometown Tax) return gifts
To commemorate “Takashi Murakami Mononoke Kyoto”, the exhibition currently on view at the Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art, and the 90th Anniversary of Kyoto City Museum of Art, we released Furusato Nozei plans with limited-edition Collectible Trading Cards as part of the return gift on December 7, 2023. As a result of the large number of donations after the release of the plan, we received over JPY 300 million in donations and, since we had completed providing the predetermined number of return gifts, we concluded the first round of accepting Furusato Nozei donations.
Based on the positive response we have received, we are now releasing new Furusato Nozei plans that include Collectible Trading Cards Vol.2 as a return gift.
This is an innovative effort to try out a new form of art support through a novel use of Furusato Nozei. We hope that you will continue to pay attention to Kaikai Kiki and Takashi Murakami’s efforts as we plan to offer a variety of return gifts utilizing the Furusato Nozei system in the future.
About the Furusato-Nozei-exclusive Collectible Trading Cards Vol. 2
Among Murakami’s recent activities, his NFT (Non-Functional Token) project has attracted a lot of attention. In Murakami.Flowers, Murakami’s first fully realized NFT artwork, his signature Flower characters were expressed utilizing 24 x 24 pixel dots, in the form of dot art reminiscent of Japanese video games of the 1970s. And now, his Trading Cards, representing the next phase in the project’s development, are drawing attention. The “Murakami.Flowers Trading Cards, 108 Flowers”, released last December, have been much talked about, having sold out immediately.
Based on the popularity of the Vol.1, we have prepared 12 types of cards in total for the Collectible Trading Cards, Vol. 2, exclusive through Furusato Nozei, with all new designs. With three cards in each pack, the rarity varies depending on the type, and there are also a limited number of cards treated with a special printing process.
These cards constitute a select special edition of the 108 trading cards (produced and sold by Kaikai Kiki Co., Ltd.) that will be released this year under the same name—the colors of the backing paper, printing method, among other things, are different from the version for the general release—so this is your only chance to get your hands on them.
There is no knowing which card will appear until you open the pack. Please enjoy it like the lottery.
The JPY15,000 donation plan this time includes a box of 24 Shōgoin Yatsuhashi and a limited edition Shōgoin Yatsuhashi Collectible Trading Card as a return gift. One of three types of cards will be included in this plan at random. This card is also a card that can only be obtained through this Furusato Noze, so please look forward to it.
